I Need Information on John Robinson from 1817 Scotland UK He was a Jamaican Slave Owner IN 1817 and for Quite a Few Years Onward I Am a Descendant of ...

I would love more information on Robinson since I have his last name. All slaves on the Robinson plantation were given his name once emancipation came and the British and Scots left Jamaica. It's nearly impossible for me to find my african ancestor as there is no record of his true african name or tribe he came from. I would like to learn more about the name I use today.
