I have hit a whole wall of bricks, stones, and no twigs and branches ha ha. I can not figure this out and I feel like I am going nuts! If you can please, lend me a few minutes of your time or point me in the right direction I would dearly appreciate the kindness. I am looking for my grandparents. What I have been told has not been correct and I was told that grandmaw was named Bessie and she married a Pack, Payne, Paine, Pyle I have checked every spelling I believe anyway this occurred before she married my grandfather who was Lewis Sheppard, now I don't know if Lewis or Bessie were the first names or the middle names and I have looked this interent over. Bessie maiden name I was told was Ratliff so I looked and not lead then I looked under Rader and Radford still not leads. As you can tell I have searched now for about 14 yrs now. This project has taken on a new role in this household. I started out doing this for myself, then my kids and now my grandchildren. I hope I can get it done and find a connection. Any leads will be most appreciate. Thanks again!

What state r we talking about. There r a few Lewis Sheppards. Having the state will help narrow down the odds.

Hello Sherry, I believe the main family of the Sheppards came from Pike Co. Ky and married into the Ratliff, Belcher, Vance and etc families. I know most of the Sheppard clan from my family line have passed away. I do have a half brother Johnnie that I have lost contact with he also had a daughter named Sherry I thought what a shock that your name was Sherry, wouldn't be any kin would it? Thanks for helping me, looking forward to hearing from you.
