IN Search of Great Uncle James Mccoy

Great Uncle James Mccoy was born in Ardee Louth Ireland in Feb.1868.
His parents were Bernard Mccoy and Catherine Matthews.
He emigrated to u.s.,where and when ,dont know.
There is a strong candidate James Mccoy who married an Ellen Quinn in 1897
in Philadelphia.Need someone to check his marriage or death cert to
see if either contains the names of his parents. If parents are as above then
i will know that it is the real Mccoy.Could not resist.
