Information on Jessie Elsie Staples

looking for information on the marriage of a harris wade brown to a jessie elsie staples
in england around 1918
harris known as 'harry' returned from the war in 1918 and married jessie elsie staples.
i am led to believe that they returned to new zealand in 1918 ,but jessie was only there for 5 months
and then she arrived back in england,not clear if she divorced harry and remarried,but this is more than likely any help please will be great
there is no dates given im afraid but harry was born in 1886 in new zealand
this is the only date to go on

Harris Wade Brown died in New Zealand on 21 April 1921.BDM ref 1921/1336. (92 years ago, almost to the day)Aged 25 years - is this the right person?
Harris Wade Brown was born in NZ on 3 May 1896 BDM Ref 1896/14773.
Parents were Nitocris Allison (nee Holland) and William Robert Brown. Harris Wade was the first of eight children. The parents married in NZ in 1895- BDM Ref 1895/4042.

Hello again shebalee,
I've just looked at Archives NZ. Harris enlised in 1916 - No. 21479. He is listed as Harries Wade Brown. He was discharged in 1919. He died in Kaikohe on 21 April 1921 and was buried at the Kaikohe Cemetery.(this is in Northland, NZ)
On his records his wife is listed as Mrs J E Brown - 7 Upton Road, Torquay -16.5.19.
And his mother as Mrs W R Brown of Kaikohe.
He married Jessie Elsie Stapples on 28.12.1918 at St Mary, Stafford. (note the spelling of her surname)

thanks for that a bit confused though as some have found that jessie elsie staples surname was sharples and married to harries brown

Just to bring you up to date Harris was the first born of 11 children.
Family of 6 boys and 5 girls.My mother Ruby Olive was 1 of Harris's sisters.

Re Harris/ Harries, I have sighted the embarkment book for when he left for overseas during WW1 and Harris was crossed out and Harries submitted in red ink.
