I have been researching the Bardsley family for some time searching for my Husbands Grandfather Robert William Wilton who married Mabel Elizabeth Bardsley. Robert deserted a wife and 3 children in Australia during 1st world war

what would you like us to research i have seen a private tree on ancestry maybe it is yours? it seams he married twice, he left england with linda mary mannso di villa then went back to england in 1918 and she died in australia

Thank you for prompt reply, I already have all of the information you submitted but Robert was sacked by the Royal High Commissions, his wife died whilst he was in England and the 3 children were taken into care. He never returned to them and I am trying to find out what happened to him prior to marrying Mabel Bardsley. My Mother in Law searched for her Dad who seemed a loving Father judging by his many letters sent from England during WW1 to her.
