OWEN V. ADAMS - Born May 19, 1838 Lewis Co.Mo, Died Feb 23, 1912 Phelps Co, Mo. Husband of Mary Bathe - Civil War Veteran Buried in the Saint James Veterans Home Cemetery,

Thanks for your help, Nsueturney60! I had just come across the Adams cemetery too, but had not looked up Owen's death record. I did notice that Nancy's brother and his wife were also buried in that cemetery, as well as a 9th child of Nancy who died as an infant.
If you could look up Nancy's mother that would be great. I haven't been look deep into her yet, and I'm not sure if this is accurate, but some people on Ancestry who also have Nancy and Charles in their tree list her mother's name as being Isabella AKIN. This may be accurate and would make sense with Nancy being given her mother's maiden name as her middle name. If you can find anything let me know. I will also post any of my additional findings here too.
Thank You - ClassicalMusic

Isabella Akin was born 1765 At Campbell County, Va. She married George Allen Sublett on Nov. 14, 1791. They had 5 children . I also found another site they said that she was born in 1771 and was the daughter of Joseph Akin and Anne Akin. Joseph was born 1748 in Albermarle, Virginia. They had 5 children: Isabella born 1765-or 1771, then Sarah Sally Akin Sublett- married William Sublett on Dec. 20, 1787 and moved to Rutherford County, Tennessee by 1805, Mary Akin Sublett married Benjamin Sublett on Nov 8, 1797. Betsy Akin Married Charles Ruckett on Dec. 2, 1801. William C. Sublett Unknown. I might could try to find more information if I went to the genealogy center. I will take this information and see what I can find in Virginia and Tennesse. Maybe the Virginia Genealogist will have something. I will get back to you. Nsueturney60
