James Andrew of Hobart Tasmania 1844 1927 Can You Help

I'm trying to find any information about the heritage of my Great Grandfather, James Andrew, who in 1865 married Mary Jane Chapman in Hobart, Tasmania. I've been unable to find any convincing record of James Andrew being born or arriving in Tasmania. There are several people named James Andrew coming and going before 1865, but none of them seems to be him. He was a cabinetmaker and had a large family with Mary Jane, eventually dying in Hobart in 1927. Any information appreciated.
