James C Moss 1828 and Mary J Moss 1831 of Illinois Tennesse OR VA

I'm looking for information on James c and Mary J Moss, I'm not sure what Mary's maiden name is. They were born in tennessee. They had 5 children Lovelace F Moss--1861, Robert M Moss--1865, Mary L Moss--1868(which was my grandmothers mom) then David Logan Moss--1870 and James H Moss--1872. I think the ancestors of them may be from Va. I would appriceate any help. thank you Brenda
