James Chaffey Married Rachel Sugg IN Lewisham Now Se London IN 1856

James and Rachel are both 48 on the 1881 census. James was born in Newbury, Berkshire, but I have found nothing to confirm this, or the names of his parents etc. Rachel was born in New Cross/Deptford (now southeast London) in 1833 to Thomas Sugg and Jane his wife. Jane was born c1792 in Bow, east London. Does anyone know who she was? Thomas Sugg was a son of George Sugg and Ann Patey, married 1787. Thomas was born in 1788. There are many Sugg families in Somerset and quite a few Suggs in London. George was alive in 1841, aged 83, at Kensington Workhouse. Does anyone know how he connects with other Sugg families or individuals?
