I have looked on 3 sites for a marriage between a Dainty and Helm between 1910-1925 and cannot find one.
The only reason I can think of for this is:
They never actually married This is just after the 1WW and ???? Helm may have been married previously and she may have used her married name on the births and her original maiden on the marriage.
If you are happy that the above are your father and his sisters you could purchase the birth cert for James which should give both parents names.
