James Hannam Born Abt 1792 IN Wiltshire Dorset Somerset

I'm looking for the origins of James Hannam. He married Ann Coward in Mere, Wiltshire, England on 5 Dec 1816, died 1827 and buried 18 Apr 1827 in Mere. His burial record online gives age as 35 which is the only definite info I have about his birth.

I can't find a birth/ baptism in Mere. I've looked on Freereg, Familysearch, Ancestry, Wilts BMD, Mere OPC.

I've begun to look in surrounding parishes, found one in Motcombe, Dorset, but I know there are lots of Hannams in some towns/villages

Can anyone offer further help please.
