James McGee, Magee was in the Bay of Islands in 1838 i do think it was the Rattlesnake. He his wife Ann McCartney and three sons Joseph, Richard and Owen Curran were on the Anna Watson in 1840 along with the Platina first ships to go into Auckland and plant the flag there.
