James Monroe Howlett

I am the gggreat granddaughter of James and Sousin Howlett . Sousan passed about 1876 he married Caroline Glass. Can not find any information on Family of James or Sousin. Walker County Alabama last information. I have James born in Jackson County Alabama, I have been told by Civil Wars friends that he was born in Tennessee.

This is my first post any advice will be appreciated.
