Trying to trace my GGG Grandfathers heritage.

James was sent to Western Australia in 1853 after being Court Martialed in Canada for desertion.

Trying to find out where he was born, his parentage and if he left a wife and children behind (as he was middle aged when sent out).

James married Elizabeth Weldon in Western Australia 1855, and they had several children.

James was shot dead by his son George at Canturbury Farm, New Norica Western Australia 1879. and is buried there in an unmarked/ lost grave site.
