James Wilson Bernice Henderson Rata Auckland Hamilton New Zealand
I'm looking for information on James William Wilson. He was born in 1885 and married Bernice Henderson in 1906 (I believe they got married in Rata, NZ.)I am aware that they split up and Bernice went to Hamilton where she died. James moved on to Auckland where he died on 14 Aug 1955, he is buried at Waikumete Cemetery without a headstone. I know who all his children are but I'd like to know what became of my great-great-great grandfather, my great grandma never knew what happened to him. I've never seen a picture of him either. If anyone has information about him please get in touch, thank you.
UPDATE: James is not buried in Waikumete cemetery in Auckland. Due to the details on that James Wilsons death cert there is no way he is my great great grandfather.
The only info i have is about his marriage. He has census records for Hamilton in 1928. The last one is also a record for Bernice. after that there is no info about him anywhere and in 1957 on Bernice's then census record she was a widow.
Judging by his age when he was married he would of been born around 1880 or 1881, again there is no info except 1 James Wilson born in 1800 but he was born in Taradale, on My James marriage cert it states he was born in Dunedin.
I just wish I had one bit of solid evidence besides his marriage cert to go off.
