Jane Bailey ancestry

Journal by rosek

I'm frustrated with my Bailey research. My gg grandmother Jane Bailey bc1811 in England, married 1838 Freeman Henry Rose in Woodhouse, Simcoe, Ontario, Canada. A James Bailey was one of the witnesses. I don't know if he was a brother, father, etc. I found one brother William Bailey in Wisconsin, because his son was mentioned in Jane's Kenosha, Wisconsin obituary.

Update:
I believe Jane Bailey had a brother William Bailey bc 1816 in England; d.1872 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He m. Sarah Ann Fry bc 1825 Ireland. They had six sons and one daughter all born in Wisconsin except their first son in Canada. Their 5th child William D Bailey was b June 1855 in Wisconsin. I believe he is the W D Bailey listed as Janes nephew and a survivor in her obituary published in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
William and Sarah Bailey children:
John H Bailey was bc. 1842 in Canada unmarried up to 1880 census
Norval (Norville) Douglas Bailey bc 1846 m. twice with issue
Frank Elmore (Elmer) Bailey bc 1850 (not on family's 1860 census)
Frederick W Bailey b.1853 d. 1921 Chicago m. with issue
William D. Bailey b.1855 d. 1911 Kenosha, WI m. with one daughter
Edward H. Bailey b.1857 d. 1933 Hinsdale, IL m. with issue
Ada Mary Bailey b.1861 m. with issue

Hello,
If you go to findagrave.com and type in Freeman Henry Rose, born, 1 August, 1813 Rochester, NY, died 1896 Rapid City, S.D. or Jane Bailey Rose born 1811 England, died 25 December 1896 Oelrichs, S.D., you will get bios, obits, dates, kids, spouses, etc. There is even a picture of Jane Bailey Rose. Hope this helps
