Jane Whitcomb Maddocks of Penobscot Maine

I have a 03/16/1841 death date for Jane Whitcomb Maddocks (2nd wife of Nathaniel Maddocks). Since she had a daughter, Nancy A. Maddocks, in 1844 this cannot be right. Could it be her wedding date?
