Hi my Great Grandmother ELLEN FITZGERALD daughter of MICHAEL FITZGERALD and ELIZABETH MAGUIRE FITZGERALD of MURROE CO LIMERICK IRELAND was supposedly a cousin of Thomas Fitzgerald of Bruff Co Limerick who emigrated to US in 1840s and was the father of John Honey Fitzgerald the father of Rose Fitzgerald who was the mother of JFK.This was handed down by word of mouth through the generations but trying to prove it now is very difficult!Anyone out there with any help?

If that's your grandfather in the photograph the resemblance to Honey Fitz is certainly there.
Actually its the woman my great grandmother Ellen Fitzgerald and thats her husband John Hayes!
