Johann Joachim Christoph Parbs

I believe that this man came to South Australia in mid 1840's and he was married three times. My grandfather Johann Friedrich Wilhelm PARBS was born to JJC PARBS' second wife who was formerly Caroline Channel. I have a copy of my grandfather's birth certificate which came as a shock because we were led to believe that Katherina Shannon was grandfather's mother, so to see the name 'Channel' was a surprise.
