My grandfather was Robert Copeland, born 1849. John Copeland born 1841.
Robert married Charlotte Corbett in Lancaster in 1879 . Was in the RIC for 5 and a bit years. Then went to Lancashire to live , marry, and join the police.'
I do not have any information on Roberts parents.
