He married Elizabeth Ann Garwood 18/12/1887, living in St. Pancras. His father was also John Cotter a Shoemaker living in London in 1871 but may have moved from Ireland. Later John and Ann lived in Willesden, NW London. They had 5 children, John Edward, Albert, William (my Grandfather) who married Martha Beatrice Sault in 1919, Annie and Edith. Any information on this family would be appreciated and I have more info to share too.

Only just found the information I had written down so my apologies if I didn't respond previously. The census info above is correct apart from the last bit. I will check it out though. I still haven't been able to trace further back as all males were John Cotter and there are so many. William Joseph was my Grandfather so if anyone can help further, please contact me.
