John Donnachie Known as Ian

Hi as a new member it would be appropriate for me to give some details

I have traced my family to Ayrshire, My Father John was born in New Cumnock and moved to Cowdenbeath with his family arround 1908.
I have traced back to my great grandad, but find a brickwall when trying to go further back, I believe family was originaly from Derry Ireland.
I did find through a website a second cousin, the Granddaughter of my Grandfathers sister who emigrated to Canada, we are now in regular contact.
