John Graham B 1800 London England D 1872 Footscray Victoria Australia Married Elizabeth Clarke 1828 Ireland D 1884 Footscray
I am researching my daughter in law's family tree and am wondering if I could get help on John Graham and Elizabeth Clarke. John came to Australia as a convict - 14 years in 1822 on the ship Caledonia but I cannot find what he did. He married in 1848 Melbourne and went on to have eight children, Elizabeth Maud being Vanessa's 3rd Great Grandmother.

Thank you for the information it is much appreciated. The crime was in Scotland but just to put me straight, was John and his father, Alexander born in London, or were they born in Scotland. All I had was John born London and did not have Alexander the father. Hoping you can help....Marilyn
Looks like they came from Perth in Scotland and John was cabinet maker and his mother was a Christina McKenzie Will keep looking
I have found the wedding of Alexander Graham and Christina McKenzie in Ancestry. 26 Oct 1795 Kilmadock, Perth, Berkshire, Scotland but some Ancestry families have sibling to John, Jane and Ann born some 30 years later. I have not put that in my data.
