John Henley

I'm looking for information about John Henley, b 1795 in Stanley County, NC. He was married to Midy Doby. He shows up on the 1850 Census in Rowan County, NC. After that I can find no trace of him or his death. One source indicated that he died in 1859 in Montgomery County, NC. I cannot verify this death or find a grave site. It may be accurate because his wife, Midy, does show up on the 1860 Census in Montgomery County, NC.
Does anyone have more information on him?
