John Hillis IN Wilcocks CO AL Who was His Father and OR Mother

I am from the John Hillis & Lydia Glover, that moved from Wilcocks co, AL to Pope co, AR. Can not find any true paper trail on who his father or mother was, (lot of people are saying it is William Hillhouse, but nothing to prove it)
