I have searched for many years and soon going to Ballarat in Melbourne to try to solve once and forever.

A John Mulvenna or spelt Mulvany or Mulvaney came circa 1862 from County Antrim, Ireland port to the goldfields of Ballarat to the goldfields of Otago finally in 1863 to South Westland, New Zealand.

We don't have the exact date or boat; list of passengers etc of any travel. Like many at that time was he possibly a stowaway?
There is a possibility he got a boat from County Armagh to Melbourne.
