John Peaco Windam Maine
John Peaco was born Jan. 7, 1779, married Lydia Cobb of Windam and settled there. I'm trying to find where he came from. I have all his family from him from the Otisfield Maine history. Thanks for any help.

The big problem is the spelling of the name to find the answer - you asked where his parents came from - I did a brief research on all the united states - canada - england -wales - scotland - france - italy - argentina The spelling changes in europe , Italy - argentina - // scotland , wales - england have the same spelling as in the United states- Following the name - in these countries after 1800 -( including family trees . All BDM's )on many websites is not very difficult - Before 1800 -( 1700 to 1775 ) Maine does not appear to have the majority - That seems to Virginia - however records are scarce - louisiana ha s some to some are spelt slightly differently . I did not find an answer along that lines up with what you asked - I hope some how this may assist -Regards
