I did notice that your grandfather's middle name is Ora and wondered if that was somehow a family name that went back to Ora A.
Did you find any connection between our Slades? It doesn't seem apparent from your journal here besides the Ora theory.

No,big deal I REALLY enjoy this-just hopin that these notes r true.Its nice of others to lend a hand with info.The only one I was unable to locate was Chase-John/Martha -son.I take it those other names were their children?I have so many notes on my desk-I have hard time keeping them together.Ive had several give me a hand with info.I started with a story & I guess wrong one.Its a puzzel.We wewre told that gram Slade had been mar-before.She was Hattie Belle French,Styles,Slade,so it seems.Nelson W.French/Lydia E Styles.She died & he mar-servant-Viola Knight.Moses Knight/Emma L.Skinner-Knight is on my dads side also.I really dont know as yet of who is who-I DONT care who Im related to -Id enjoy finding anyone of my relatives.Janet
