His wife Frances Tickell born approx 1791 Devon England, I have no information on Frances. Their daughter Cordelia Elizabeth (Bessie) Stone (born 1842) migrated to South Australia in 1863 on the ship Mary Shepherd. Bessie is my great-grandmother. According to the censuses John was a tailor, as was his son William Henry Stone.
