I am apart of the 5th generation to John Tucker Edmonds and I would appreciate any information about him and the whanau. I have just recently started looking into the Edmonds whanau and am slowly but surely getting information. I'm sure lots of you agree that doing this projet is a huge step into finding ourselves and I'm sure it only get's better.

funsta on 2008-03-22 00:15:52back in 1988 a family reunion was held in Hicks Bay. At that hui a family genealogy book was released to all branches of the family present. It contains the total history, coat of arms and listings of family addesses throughout the world. I am a desendant of John Tucker Edmonds also. If you want to find out more about this book, drop me a line and I will contact my brother to see who has a copy of it.

My mother is still alive and shares stories about her aunties and uncles and her grandparents. We used to live in Kaikohe but since my parents retired from Taxi-driving they moved to whanau land in Awarua. Mum lives with me and my whangai sister Alice. I am a granddaughter of grandpa Sailor Moran - his mother was Minnie Edmonds - child of John Tucker Edmonds and Raiha Pekama.(I'm 60 years old)
I would appreciate a copy of the booklet given to family at the hui 1988.

I missed the reunion because I was in jail for 4yrs. My mother Tereina Tangimetua (nee Edmonds) told me it was a beautiful moment for the Edmonds to come together from all over the world. - Edith Edmonds + Jphn Stephens who then had me Vicky Jean Siafa (Stephens)..
I have copied photos of John Tucker and Raiha (my Nana has originals in Ngawha at our homestead) I also have an original photo of Thomas, Graham, Erana and Esther Edmonds taken at Waipoua Forest (Tane Mahuta) in the Hokianga..
