John Williams Born IN Buckinghamshire England Jan 1836 Went to South Africa and Married Mary Ann Hilliard IN Nov 1862
I am looking for any information up the line for John Williams. His parents and grand parents etc. John Williams travelled to South Africa prior to 1862. He and Mary Ann Hilliard (Williams) had 4 children Martha Jane, Alfred, Harry John and Norton.

No I do not have any Williams in my tree, I just tried to look for a birth for you in Buckinghamshire and found about 6 John's. Unfortunately I have nothing to cross reference. Does it have a fathers name on his marriage certificate, do you know if he had siblings and their names?
Dont know about siblings at this time. I am trying to find further info at this time. Will check back ASAP with this. Many thanks
Hi Noggin. Found out that JW was in Cape Town on 21 May 1860 and was an Able Seaman. So he may have been in the service in the UK prior to going to South Africa. Am waiting for Baptism or Marriage certificate info and will let you know. Thanks
