Josiah Thompson Smith B 1812 Pennsylvania OH 1831 IA 1839 CA 1852

Still looking for parents of Josiah Thompson Smith born 1812 in Pennsylvania. He married Nancy CUMMINS in Hamilton County OH 1832. Family moved to Des Moines County, Iowa 1839. Josiah came to CAlifornia 1852, he left there in 1862. Was in Los Angeles County, California 1870 (signed voting register there, NOT in 1870 census there).

There may be MILTON connections, not sure. May be MILLER (from MD) connections, not sure. Not sure of a Thompson connection even though his middle name is Thompson.

Have more information as I've been searching for parents and place of birth for over 30 years. Information provided by children has not directed me to his place of birth in PA nor his parents.
