MORTLAKE. Mr. H. W. Jubb died on
Thursday aged 82 years. He had resided
in the district for 59 years.
I found the following letter in a childrens' column in the Weekly Times dated 17 June 1911. may be a relative!
William Jubb, of Cobrakillue, Hexham, who is 10 years of age, writes:—
I live in Hexham Common. We drive five miles to school.
There is one school in Hexham. There are two churches, one bakery, a bootmaker's shop and one blacksmith's shop.
