Descendants of Robert Kelly & Ann Greer, Tyrone Ireland

Ann Kelly(nee Greer) arrived at Point Henry, Victoria aboard the Ship "Tasman" on the 28th October 1849. With her were her Son's James Kelly and John Greer Kelly, Agricultural Labourers from Donoughmore, Tyrone Ireland. Also daughter Jemima Kelly, House Servant. All state to be Church of England. Robert Kelly had died in Ruchin, Ireland according to the death certificate of Ann Kelly. Ann Greer had married Robert Kelly in New Mills Ireland in 1821. Ann Kelly and daughter Jemima resided with James Kelly. Jemima never married.

James Kelly died 1895. The present farm of Richards Bros. was first worked by James Kelly, who is believed to come from Tyrone, Ireland. The homestead was on the western side of the property on the gully. With him lived his mother, his wife, who died in 1862, and an eldertly sister, Jemimah. His son Robert, on his marriage, built the present home Of Mr John Richards. The site of the original home is well defined by old foundations, an old well and the dwindling remains of a cottage orchard. Robert Kelly left no heirs- Early Days of Berwick

The death occurred of Mr. Robert James Kelly yesterday at Wyuma private hospital, Prahran. Mr. Kelly, who for many years was interested in dairying and agriculture at Tyrone, Harkaway, was well known in Western Gippsland. He was educated at Wesley College, Melbourne. He recently sold his property and went to live at Gloucester avenue, Berwick. The funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon in the Church of England section of the Berwick Cemetery. The funeral arrangements are by John Grant and Co., Berwick. He was the third pioneer of the district to die within the last week

KELLY. -The Friends of Mr. R. J. KELLY and Mrs. C. Fritzlaff are respectfully informed that the remains of their late aunt Miss Jemima Kelly will be interred in the Berwick Cemetery.
The funeral is to leave the Berwick railway station on arrival of the 1.3O p m train from Melbourne. THIS DAY (Saturday. 18th)

Wells (Frankston), and Mr. R. A. Kelly (Korumburra), also the Rev. I. Rooney (South Australia), after a brief and painful illness, aged 80 years. Deepy regretted. An old colonist of 55 years

Mrs Mary Ann Kelly, an aunt of Mr R. . Kelly, of Tyrone, Harkaway, died in Melbourne recently. The old lady's age was 100 years and six months. The venerable centenarian resided at Harkaway for a considerable time.
