I am descended from Isabel Kirby who was born May 17, 1861 in Clark County, Illinois. Her parents were James Kirby, from Kentucky, and Nancy Surber. Isabel Kirby married John Henry Cook in 1881.

My grandfather was James William Kirby and he was orginally from Virgina or West Virgina I think, he died in 1955 in Maryland. His wife was Ella May-Barrow.
