Lancashire Wearden

I am researching the wearden family that originated (I think) in the Preston/Blackburn areas. I have had some limited success so far, including photos I am willing to share. Have detailed info on John Wearden (b1912) in particular his ww2 service and his M.M. award. I am also interested in tracing the Wormsley family, also of Preston/Blackburn areas

I have some information about the Weardens that moved from Blackburn to the USA in 1879, and also about some Weardens in Australia. My records of the Weardens that stayed in England are very limited. Are you looking for anything specific?
