Joseph Vera Cardoza, holder of a New Zealand wine license, was sued before Mr Ward, R.M., to-day with exposing wine after 10p.m. The accused is a fruiterer and said he was selling perishable goods, but admitted the face of the wine being on view. He was fined 10s and costs. His Worship said he must put the wines out of sight after 10 o'clock

During the many years Mr Cordoza has been in business in Wanganui he has always kept the best of fruit, and with it has given his customers civility and attention.
