The people at the Rye historical society have a picture of Joe Peters. They were able to send me a good copy of one of their early school photos which was much appreciated.
My G.G. Grandfather was one of Rye's Cape Verdean's. I also suspected aboriginal heritage, but have now found that that is not the case. I recently learned that he was one of about a dozen Portuguese Sailors who deserted their ship.
Is the Photo of Joe Peters the son or the father? If its a school photo I am thinking it would be the son which is my great grandfather. Any chances of you emailing a copy to us. I have photos of Joseph as a grown man but not as a child. I would love to show my father a photo of his grandfather as a child.
