Peter arnold married Catherine Kennedy in Mass about 1866. they had two sons John Arnold and Patrick arnold, also William who was born the same year his father died. Any information would help thank you

Yes I have tried family Search That is where I found his birth records. I need to know when he died. We were told he went back to prussia to fight in the Franco Prussian war,but I don"t see how he could have done that. He had two small children than plus a third one on the way when he died. let me know if you can help thank you

This is another great website...Surname Navigator. Select a country from the drop down list, enter your surname then press search and you will see what I mean. This is the best genealogical search engine that I know of. Have a pen and paper handy.

Plus there are lots of links on Prussia in general. Learn about Prussia from Wikipedia - the free encyclopaedia.

Tip: it's all to easy to go on a wild goose chase on supposed information. Many of us have found out that 'stories' were just that. Be careful to document all your known information.
