Looking for a Connection Between the Hope Name and the Moore Name

I was born a hope (father's side) but my mother was born as a Moore (later adopted by Moore's). I know for a fact that both family's were related before my parents were even married but there are alot of unanswered questions on my mom's side. Adoption records were sealed. Looking for any help!
