I believe my grandfather was previously known as Albert white and changed his name to David Duncan after being, as I understand, adopted by his mothers new husband. He was born in liverpool and moved to London with his mother Phyllis. Phyllis was my great grandmother. I was never told the full story only that Albert sr possibly committed suicide. My grandfather is alive sadly he has Alzheimer's but he is married to my grandmother Janet, they had a son called Paul David Duncan, my father. I have been looking so long for information...!
