Looking for Alcock OR Kite Nz

My Nana. Agnes Mary Kite born 09 July 1903 was adopted out to George Joseph Hanmore Alcock and Esther Edith Elizabeth Maria Alcock nee Snelgar. I am trying to find her birth parents?? I am wondering weather Kite maybe a clue?? Any suggestions would be great
