Looking for ancestors: JAYNE, TUTHILL,TUTTLE,VAN COTT,PEASE,HOWLAND,O'CAME

I am an 81 year old female retired civil engineer. My father was Algernon Brewster JAYNE. My mother was Ruth Margaretta TUTHILL. I don't know how I am related but there was a Margaret O'CAME and her father Ephraim somewhere in there. I am assuming the name is Irish but have found out that to research Irish families one has to know what county they are from. I tried google but that did not get me anywhere. Any and all help will be appreciated. Thank you one and all!

However, this account is that of my late mother, Eileen J. DiRuocco who passed away 2/16. We are no longer collecting information.
