I am descended from Alva Gilglogly! I am descended from his son, Cornelius Gilglogly, who married Kathryn McDole/McDale. Their daughter, Luella Gilglogly, was my great grandmother.
I am very interested in this line. I can almost never find anything out about this family.
All I know about Alva is that he was born 19 Feb 1827 in Greene County, Pennyslvania, and died on 30 Oct 1895 in Pulaskiville, Morrow County, Ohio. I do not know who his parents were, or if he had any siblings. Does anyone out there know?
