Looking for Ancestry of Walter Butterworth D 1942 of Sandgate Brisbane Queensland Australia and His Wife May Josephine D 1940 Daughters Gladys Ad...

Gladys Butterworth (deceased), married Edward Rush (deceased) of Brisbane. Gladys had a sister, Joan. I am seeking information as to Gladys' parents, grandparents and earlier ancestors. Gladys is my grandmother but died before I was born.
Possible connections are (Mr H) Beckam or Beckham, and Summers. May have lived at either Derrl's or Derrls Lane, Sandgate, Qld although some records state Dcarls Lane and Doarls Lane.

Hi and a big thank you asheppard and familydetective for your help - it is priceless. I'm fairly new at this so put it on the self some years ago after hitting a blank.

If you purchase the certificates or transcripts, Walters birth may have details of his parents marriage.

That's fantastic thank you. I will purchase some records I think, for greater certainty. With misspellings on records it is no wonder the search is fraught. I have spent a few hours downloading lists from BDM records and started a timeline to see who fits the gaps. Might be time to reactivate my old ancestry.com.au account!
