Andrew was born in Croydon, Surrey, England in 1852 and came to Victoria,Australia with his family in 1858 eventually settling in Ballarat, Victoria where he was listed as a miner in 1903. Father Andrew Shove, mother Sophia Burkin

I searched all the Australian death records but could not find your Andrew SHOVE, but I did find some of his siblings.
Are you sure Andrew stayed in Australia?
Many thanks Tonkin. Some early family documents give a London address for Andrew W. W. Shove which suggest that he may have gone back to England. I have searched census records and BDMs etc. but with no success. The name, like many others is often misspelt - Shore, Shaw, Shrove etc. I have a lot of info on other siblings. His sister, Annie, born 1840 was my GGrandmother.

What year does your family documents place Andrew in London?
If Andrew's father or mother made a Will it may give you a few more details about Andrew's whereabouts.
I have gone back to a cousin who is the original source from her mother's documents to try and get a date for this and to check some other dates - will advise.
His parents died in the 1870s and from diaries he was certainly in the area at this time.
