Hi , Dorothy Rose Elcombe Moved to New Zealand in 1920 and married George Henry Davies and they are my Grand parents. I know that both girls were living in Forest Gate (1911 Census) I wonder if the girls father boarded with the same family in Portsmouth after returning from Jamaica in March 1898 and prior to going to South Africa with the British Army, 1899/1902.
Having difficulty tracing what happened to the older sister, Charlotte Nellie Amelia Elcombe after 1911.There is some indication that she may have married at some point, married name Bracken.
Any info would be of great help
