Not sure where he was from. Most everyone lists Alsace Lorraine, but, it was part of France at that time & he said he was from Germany on an 1850 census. Someone thought he was from Allach, Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Can't find any European records, no immigration records, no place of burial & the list goes on. Any info would be helpful.
