Looking for Assistance IN Researching My 3rd Great Grandfather William S Breeden

He was born approximately 1805 in VA. His wife's name was Ruth or Rutha not sure if her maiden name was Bodie or Nicholson, also born about 1805 in VA. I do not know when he died. The last census he was on was 1870. Ruth died in 1880. Their children were: Martha Ann born abt 1831; Ambrose born abt 1833; Francis born abt 1834; William born abt 1834; Hamilton born 1837.

I would like to know what his father's name was and if his wife Ruth's last bane was Nicholson or Bodie.
