Researching the BALL family of Poplar England. William BALL married Bessie Beatrice Rose BALL(nee HART) and had a son William Robert Samuel BALL and a daughter Bessie Elizabeth BALL.

Bessie and her son William later emigrated to New Zealand and re-married a Joseph HOOD. Her first husband William died around 1937.

Thank you for your reply. You are spot on with your information. I have been able to accurately trace forward to the present time from William Ball

The information I am finding it hard to locate is who was William Ball's mother. I believe his father was a Richard William Ball (dob abt 1865?)so I am guessing that William was conceived when his father (Richard) was only around 15 years old (scandal?)

Richard William Ball's father was a Richard Joseph Ball who's father was also called Richard. It gets very confusing when they have named all their children after themselves!!!! and they needed a TV or a hobby back then to stop having around 8 - 10 kids each!.
